2012 Junior Soccer Academy Programs

This year, the Rancocas Valley Soccer Club is partnering with the renown Little Kicks Soccer Program to offer soccer skill training to a broader range of ages. Little Kicks will provide its specialized children's training program for children from three to five years of age. The RVSC Junior Soccer Academy will be available for children from five to nine years of age.

All sessions will be held at the Westampton Recreation Complex off Bridge Street at Rancocas Road (adjacent to Westampton Friends Academy) on Sundays beginning in mid-March and continuing through mid-May.

Little Kicks for 3 to 5 Year-olds

The RVSC Little Kicks Soccer Program is designed for boys and girls from three to five years of age.

The program is under the direction of owner Stephen Baselice, USSF C license, and former NJ Olympic Development Program coach.

• Time – 10:00 am to 11:00 am Sunday mornings, beginning TBD
• Dates – TBD (off Easter, Mother’s Day)
• Cost – TBD, via online registration and credit card

RVSC Junior Soccer Academy for 6 to 9 Year-olds

The RVSC Junior Soccer Academy Program is designed for older boys and girls six to nine years of age. It is based on the Coerver and Dutch 4v4 teaching methods. The program is designed to help foster the love of the game and to teach the fundamentals to succeed. Players will learn to play “the right” way.

The RVSC Soccer Academy is under the direction of:

• Damon Petras – Rancocas Valley HS Boys Varsity Coach. US National D license, US National Youth license, Dutch Youth Certification, and Brazilian C license.
• Joe Arone – NJ Coaching School Instructor, NJ ODP Staff Coach, South Jersey Select Coach and USSF C license.
• Bryan Vann – Tots Soccer Director, NJYS E License, RVSC Trainer.

The Academy will run for six weeks. Each session will be one hour, with 25-30 minutes of training followed by a 4v4 game. The sessions will be designed and demonstrated by the RV Training Staff.
